Ridgeline Boot Co. boots are sold through the online store operated by Brighty Basket (“we”, “us”, “our”), which is powered by Shopify. When you select Buy on ridgelineboots.com, you complete your purchase on Brighty Basket’s secure Shopify checkout, and your order is placed with Brighty Basket.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds policy, apply when you use ridgelineboots.com (the “Site”) or buy from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility and your information
By using the Site you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You agree that the information you give us, including your email address and your billing, payment and shipping details, is correct, current and complete.
2. Our products
We try to show our products accurately, but colors and appearance may look different on your screen depending on your device and settings, and we cannot guarantee that a product will match your expectations exactly. Product descriptions may change without notice. We may discontinue a product at any time and may limit the quantities we sell to any person or region.
3. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We may accept or decline an order for any reason. Your order is accepted only when we confirm it, and we must receive and process your payment first. Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Purchases are for your own personal or household use, not for resale or export. Returns and exchanges are handled under our Returns & Refunds policy.
4. Prices, discounts and payment
Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice. You pay the price in effect when you place your order, as shown in your order confirmation. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes, shipping, handling, customs or import charges. Promotions and discount codes may have their own terms, which apply if they conflict with these Terms. You agree to provide accurate payment information and confirm that you are authorized to use your payment method.
5. Shipping and delivery
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our control. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand your order to the carrier. See our Shipping Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Site and its content are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our written permission. Names, logos and designs on the Site belong to us, our affiliates or our licensors.
7. Third-party services and links
The Site uses services provided by third parties, including Shopify for checkout, and may link to third-party websites. Your use of those services and sites is subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them. Purchases you make are made directly with Brighty Basket.
8. Errors
The Site may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies or omissions in product descriptions, pricing, promotions or availability. We may correct them, change or update information, or cancel orders affected by them, at any time without prior notice, including after you have submitted an order.
9. Prohibited uses
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use it to break any law, infringe anyone’s rights, transmit harmful code, collect other people’s information, interfere with the Site’s security or operation, or submit false or misleading information.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated by us or as required by law, the Site and all products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Brighty Basket nor our partners, affiliates, service providers or licensors, nor Shopify, will be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind (including lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data or replacement costs), whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of the Site or any product, even if advised of their possibility.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brighty Basket, Shopify and our affiliates, partners and service providers from any claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
13. Severability and entire agreement
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, it will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted and the rest of the Terms will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. These Terms and the policies they reference are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Brighty Basket is headquartered, and you consent to the venue and jurisdiction of the courts there.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
